Solutions for Bandgap Measurement
Measurement of Bandgap can be done using several methods. This type of measurement is easily performed using Photoluminescence Spectroscopy which is a type of Fluorescence spectroscopy, or using Spectroscopic Ellipsometry as Bandgap can be deducted from optical properties.
Techniques for Bandgap Measurement
Photoluminescence and Fluorescence Spectroscopy are often used to measure bandgap directly by looking at the luminescence spectrum of the materials, using a laser source or a broad band lamp. Spectroscopic Ellipsometry can determine bandgap by determining optical constants of the materials.
